Over the years, Unitron has introduced a range of hearing aid technology platforms designed to improve speech understanding, sound quality and listening comfort. Explore some of Unitron's previous hearing aid platforms and the technology that helped shape today's Unitron hearing aids.
The Unitron Vivante hearing aid platform was designed to provide natural, comfortable sound across a variety of listening environments, with a particular focus on making conversations easier to enjoy.
Vivante introduced technologies such as HyperFocus, designed to improve the signal-to-noise ratio during face-to-face conversations in challenging, noisy environments. Unitron's SoundCore technology also worked automatically in the background to identify different listening situations and adjust hearing aid settings accordingly.
Bluetooth® connectivity allowed compatible Vivante hearing aids to connect to smartphones and other Bluetooth-enabled devices for hands-free calling and audio streaming. Select models could also be used with Unitron accessories, including PartnerMic, TV Connector and Remote Control.
The Unitron Tempus hearing aid platform was developed with a focus on helping wearers participate more comfortably in conversations across different listening environments.
Tempus technology automatically identified changing sound environments and adjusted the hearing aids to help balance speech, background noise and listening comfort. This allowed wearers to transition more naturally between everyday situations, from one-on-one conversations to groups and noisier social environments.
The Tempus platform powered several generations of Unitron hearing aids and helped advance the company's focus on automatic sound processing and speech understanding.
The Unitron North hearing aid platform was designed to deliver natural sound quality across a wide range of everyday listening situations.
North introduced Unitron's SoundNav automatic program, which classified different listening environments and adjusted hearing aid performance based on the wearer's surroundings. Technologies including SpeechZone 2 and Sound Conductor worked alongside SoundNav to support speech understanding and balance sound in different environments.
From quiet conversations to busy social settings, Unitron North hearing aids were designed to help make listening and communication feel more natural.
Hearing aid technology has continued to evolve since these Unitron platforms were introduced. If you currently wear an older Unitron hearing aid or are researching your options, a hearing care professional can help you compare your current technology with the latest Unitron hearing aids.
